Overview
The defense of non-medical professionals covers a multitude of professions and disciplines.
Our firm has a strong concentration in the areas of Legal Professional Liability, Financial Services Professional Liability, Architects & Engineers/Construction Liability and Miscellaneous Professional Liability. Our depth in these areas accounts for each having a separate subgroup within the umbrella of Professional Liability.
Financial Services Professional Liability
Architects and Engineers / Construction Liability
Miscellaneous Professional Liability
The various professional disciplines represented by our firm not only face claims asserting negligent performance (i.e. malpractice), but also issues of alleged violation of regulatory standards established for many professions, regulated and enforced by various administrative bodies. Thus, the Practice Group members have extensive experience in counseling and representing various professionals faced with regulatory and disciplinary complaints.
Our group is comprised of attorneys throughout our Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky offices.
Our Services and Philosophy of Case Handling
In collaboration with the client, we aim to immediately assess the different factors that comprise the real 'problem' for the client, and then, after explaining the different scenarios and potential avenues that accompany the issue, we want to decide on the best way to finalize the matter, in as efficient manner as possible. In a word, we strive to be solvers of problems.
While each case will differ based on the facts and the issues presented, but our philosophy is the same no matter what type of issue with which we are presented: We strive to identify the real problem confronting our client, and then to solve it. We know from long experience that this philosophy distinguishes us from so many other law firms, because, all too often, lawyers spin their wheels 'solving' problems that only create larger ones. Our clients can and do expect a different approach from Reminger.

-Barbara, Claim Supervisor
"If we would use a scale from 1-10 to measure the quality of performance, I would give the Reminger lawyers an 11. Andy Dorman and his team know their stuff and get things done.”
-Teresa, AVP
“I very much enjoy working with Reminger’s Professional Liability leaders in your offices in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Lawyers like Melvin Davis, of your Columbus office, and Jonathan Krol of your Cleveland office are typical of Reminger’s lawyers who are on top of our cases and always responsive to our questions.”
-Michele, Professional Liability Claims Supervisor
