COLUMBUS, OH –Reminger Co., LPA is pleased to announce that five of our attorneys were named to the Columbus CEO 2019 Top Lawyers in Central Ohio list. Honorees include Warren M. Enders for Medical, Ronald A. Fresco for Labor & Employment, Zachary B. Pyers for Litigation, Matthew L. Schrader for Professional Liability, and Timothy B. Spille for Appellate Law.

Columbus CEO partnered with Martindale-Hubbell to identify nearly 1,000 Top Lawyers in central Ohio. For this central Ohio list, Martindale-Hubbell tapped their database to identify lawyers who have been rated by their peers to be “AV Preeminent”—the highest peer review rating available. Martindale-Hubbell peer review ratings are driven by confidential opinions of lawyers and members of the judiciary who receive invitations from Martindale-Hubbell to review lawyers with whom they have professional knowledge.

Warren M. Enders: Warren's practice is devoted to the defense of physicians, hospitals and nursing homes. He has also throughout his career successfully represented others in the professional community, including architects, engineers, real estate agents and insurance brokers.

Warren also defends catastrophic personal injury claims and complex tort litigation. Warren is a frequent speaker in the areas of professional negligence, tort reform, and litigation techniques. Prior to joining Reminger, Warren completed a two-year judicial clerkship with the Ohio Supreme Court in 1978. Thereafter, he developed a wide range of legal experience trying felony cases as an Ohio state public defender, and defending the State of Ohio in the Court of Claims, as an assistant attorney general.

Ronald A. Fresco: Ron serves as Managing Partner of Reminger’s Columbus office as well as Co-Chair of our firm's Workers' Compensation Practice Group. He is also a member of Reminger’s Executive and Management Committees. In his practice he has handled all types of disputes involving occupational injuries and accidents before the administrative agencies and various courts of Ohio as well as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

Ron's practice also includes counseling employers, third-party administrators and service providers in their business relationships before the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation.  These issues have included coverage and classification disputes for state-fund employers, self-insurance acquisition and compliance, and provider certification. Ron is board certified as a specialist in Workers' Compensation law by the Supreme Court of Ohio.

Zachary B. Pyers: Zach litigates complex commercial, professional liability, tort, and class action matters.  He represents clients in commercial disputes, including breach of contract claims; anti-trust actions; covenants not to compete; and, business torts. In his professional liability practice, Zach represents attorneys; accountants; architects; engineers; surveyors; builders; real estate agents, insurance agents; directors and officers; and, investment advisors in litigation and licensure proceedings.  Zach also counsels several corporate clients on transactional matters. 

Matthew L. Schrader: Matthew is a shareholder in Reminger’s Columbus office, and also serves as our Co-Chair of the General Casualty/Excess and Surplus Lines practice group. He has litigated and tried cases involving professional liability, medical malpractice, directors and officers liability, wrongful death, products liability and copyright infringement.  Matthew has tried cases in both the state and federal courts throughout Ohio. He has also argued and briefed appeals in Ohio’s appellate courts and the Fourth and Sixth Circuits.

Timothy B. Spille: Tim is a litigation, insurance coverage, construction, and small business lawyer representing clients in state, federal, and appellate courts throughout Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.  He defends bodily injury and property damage lawsuits arising from car accidents, landslides, trucking accidents, slip and fall incidents, and premises liability matters. He also defends construction defect and damage, breach of contract, and warranty claims - some of which start as early as a scope of work or as late as a payment dispute. Tim enjoys handing construction workmanship, damage and monetary disputes for general contractor and subcontractor clients. 

As a small business and business litigation lawyer, Tim advises his clients about entity organization, collection matters, mechanic's and materialman's liens, and contract disputes. He serves as general counsel for a number of well-known Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky companies.  Tim is a seasoned insurance coverage litigator, having successfully defended clients regarding coverage issues involving a duty to defend or indemnify, PIP and medical payment claims disputes and UM/UIM claims.
