Overview

Tom Prislipsky is the Partner-in-Charge of Reminger’s Youngstown office and handles cases throughout the Mahoning Valley. Tom is regarded as one of the top medical malpractice defense attorneys in northeastern Ohio and is known as a fearless trial attorney.  He has defended over five hundred medical malpractice cases in his career and has successfully tried dozens of wrongful death/catastrophic cases to verdict including cases involving catastrophic birth injuries, pulmonary embolism, myocardial infarctions and spinal abscesses. Many of Tom’s high-profile verdicts have been highlighted in the Ohio Trial Reporter. Tom is frequently asked to speak at state-wide and national conference on trial advocacy and is listed in Best Lawyers in America – Medical Malpractice defense. 

Tom is a former licensed nursing home administrator and Co-Chair of Reminger's Long-Term Care practice group. Tom’s experience as a former nursing home administrator gives him valuable insight into industry custom and practice. Tom is designated counsel for some of the country’s largest nursing home corporations and uses his experience in the nursing home industry to develop creative defenses to complex long-term care litigation.
