CLEVELAND, OH - Reminger Co., LPA recently elevated eight attorneys to shareholder status: Anthony L. Holton, Lyndsay I. Ignasiak, Jackie M. Jewell, Danielle Lorenz, Adriann S. McGee, Ian D. Mitchell, Codie J. Ross, and James P. Scheidler.

Anthony L. Holton

Tony practices in Reminger's Indianapolis office. Tony has devoted his career to the defense of individuals and businesses in areas of professional liability - including insurance and financial services - as well as government/public entity liability, sports/entertainment facility liability, products liability, trucking and commercial transportation, and workers' compensation. 

Tony routinely handles litigation in state, federal, and administrative forums throughout Indiana and Illinois, as well as arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Tony strives to provide his clients with responsive service and clear, consistent communication throughout the litigation process.  Tony ensures his clients receive honest and frank advice, whether that leads to pursuing a resolution or trial strategy.

Tony has written numerous publications and presented on a variety of practice areas, including wrongful death, financial services, workers' compensation, evidentiary matters at trial, and effective deposition practice. 

Tony has geared his practice toward litigation ever since attending law school at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where he pursued an Advocacy Concentration and excelled in the school's Moot Court competition, being named into the Order of the Barristers.

Lyndsay I. Ignasiak

Lyndsay practices in Reminger's Indianapolis office, where she focuses on litigation of employment matters, professional liability, retail and hospitality, insurance coverage disputes, commercial transportation, and general commercial liability.  Licensed to practice in both Indiana and Illinois, Lyndsay regularly handles matters for clients throughout both states. 

Prior to joining Reminger, Lyndsay worked for a number of years as a federal judicial law clerk for the Honorable Judge Charles R. Norgle in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.  Lyndsay earned her juris doctorate degree from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, where she served on the John Marshall Law Review and graduated summa cum laude.

Jackie M. Jewell

Jackie practices in Reminger’s Columbus office, where she focuses on a wide variety of legal matters including employment litigation, government liability, and appellate advocacy.  

Before joining Reminger, Jackie worked alongside Special Counsel to the Ohio Attorney General where she represented the State of Ohio in various litigation matters. In addition, Jackie ran campaigns for a 10th District Court of Appeals Judge, Franklin County Common Pleas Judge, and a candidate for Columbus City Council.  

Jackie earned her Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School, where she competed as a member of the Capital University Law School Mock Trial team, which won second place at the regional competition in Cleveland. She also served on the Capital University Law Review and Philip J. Fulton Law Office National Moot Court Team. 

Jackie has been recognized as a Rising Star by Ohio Super Lawyers Magazine since 2017. She is a member of a number of legal associations, as well as the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio Red Shoe Society and the Human Resources Association of Central Ohio.

Danielle Lorenz

Based in Reminger’s Cincinnati office, Danielle focuses her practice on workers' compensation, commercial real estate, general business law, and creditors' rights. She regularly represents both state funded and self-insured employers at administrative hearings and upon appeal to court. Danielle is licensed to practice in both the states of Ohio and Indiana. 

Danielle has been recognized as a Rising Star by Ohio Super Lawyers Magazine. She serves on the Board of Trustees for the Cincinnati Bar Foundation. Danielle previously served on the Board of Trustees and as co-chair of the Women Lawyers Committee for the Cincinnati Bar Association.  She is a graduate of the Cincinnati Academy of Leadership for Lawyers program.

Adriann S. McGee

Adriann practices in Reminger’s Columbus office, where she focuses her legal practice in the areas of trusts and will contests; fiduciary litigation; financial exploitation, fraud and undue Influence; beneficiary designation challenges; guardianship proceedings; power of attorney abuse; probate administration; and estate planning.

Adriann regularly conducts presentations and speaks on issues involving litigation regarding wills, trusts and other testamentary documents, ethical considerations in estate planning and guardianships. She also draws on her experience as a current member of the Ohio Guardianship Association, and as a former board member of the Consortium Against Adult Abuse, which facilitates the identification, prevention and treatment of abuse, neglect and exploitation of older adults through active collaboration and education.

Adriann is a member of various professional bar associations and is also a member of the Chief Justice Thomas J. Moyer Inn, American Inns of Court.

Ian D. Mitchell

Ian practices in Reminger’s Cincinnati office, where he focuses on general liability, directors and officers liability, employment, commercial and professional liability cases.

Prior to joining Reminger, Ian was a legal extern to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Ohio in Cincinnati and to U.S. District Judge William O. Bertelsman in the Eastern District of Kentucky.

Codie J. Ross

Codie practices in Reminger's Fort Wayne office. He is a tested trial attorney with years of courtroom experience, and has defended clients in general casualty, professional liability, construction liability, premises liability, personal injury, and wrongful death cases. Codie’s expertise also includes bail bond and surety law, education law, and general insurance defense.

Codie has written legal articles that have been featured in Indiana Lawyer and other publications He has also lectured on a variety of topics including bail and surety law, premises liability, and general insurance defense matters.  He is a member of the Allen County and Indiana State Bar Association.  He is also an active member of the Defense Research Institute and the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana.  Additionally, Codie has volunteered his time to a number of local youth sports programs in his hometown of Auburn, Indiana. 

Prior to joining Reminger, Codie practiced as a civil litigation attorney in Fort Wayne. He spent the first decade of his career as a teacher for DeKalb Central Schools.

James P. Scheidler

Jim practices in Reminger’s Indianapolis office. He joined Reminger after gaining extensive litigation experience practicing for a metropolitan insurance-defense firm in Indianapolis.  

Jim concentrates his practice in all types of civil defense matters.  He has widespread experience handling first and third-party claims involving general liability and commercial lines, including automobile claims, trucking defense, premises liability, construction defect and contractor liability cases, product liability matters.

Jim also advocates for employers in workers’ compensation claims before the Indiana Workers’ Compensation Board and defends insurance carriers against first-party bad faith claims and coverage disputes.

He is a member of the National Business Institute, serves on the Alumni Board of Directors for the IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law, and serves on the Board of Directors for Damar Services, Inc.
