CLEVELAND, OH – Reminger Co., LPA recently elevated three attorneys to shareholder status: Katie Zorc (Farrell), Anthony Pernice, and Houston Hum.
Katie joined Reminger in 2013, and practices in our Cleveland office. She focuses her practice on Employment Law and Professional Liability. She also has experience defending providers from Medical Malpractice. Katie has experience handling all aspects of litigation through trial in courts throughout the state of Ohio, in federal court, and in private arbitration.
Katie is a proud alumna of The Ohio State University and of Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. While in law school, she served as Captain of the Trial Advocacy Team and as Research Editor for the Cleveland State Law Review. Since graduation, she has returned to serve as Adjunct Professor for Cleveland-Marshall College of Law’s Mock Trial Team.

Anthony practices in Reminger’s Lexington office, where he represents corporations and individuals in litigation matters including premises liability, construction negligence, and commercial trucking. Anthony worked previously for more than four years at another regional insurance litigation defense firm, where he was successful at both the trial and appellate level.
Anthony began his career in the financial industry as an advisor, equity analyst, and financial institutions examiner before pursuing the field of law. He leverages his analytical skills garnered from his experience in the financial industry in crafting strategic representation for his clients.

Houston practices in Reminger's Indianapolis office where he defends clients in federal and state court litigation. He is experienced defending clients in lawsuits alleging personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, property damage, civil rights violations, and employment discrimination. He has experience in all stages of litigation from dispute to resolution and has achieved numerous favorable results for his clients. Houston also advises clients on insurance coverage questions, commercial contracts, and employment matters including the FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and OSHA.
Houston is a 2007 graduate of the University of Notre Dame (2007) and recipient of the Tara K. Deutsch Award, "awarded to the accounting senior who has shown exemplary social consciousness and devotion to efforts to give hope to the less fortunate."
