Joseph E. Cavasinni: Joe is a shareholder in the Cleveland office and serves as Co-Chair of Reminger’s Construction Design and Liability Practice Group. He is a degreed civil engineer with eight years of practical work experience in the road and bridge construction industry, including work as a project superintendent for a heavy highway general contractor, and owner of a consulting company specializing in polymer restoration materials.
Since he began practicing law in 1995, Joe’s practice has been devoted exclusively to construction law, with a specific emphasis in construction litigation. He has represented owners, contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and material suppliers in a variety of construction-related matters, including tort claims involving personal injury and property damage, architect and engineer E&O claims, construction defect claims, mechanics’ lien, bond, delay and contract claims. Joe has handled litigation matters in most state courts in Ohio, the U.S. District Courts for Northern District and Southern District of Ohio, and the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Construction Industry Arbitration Rules.
Joe is on the American Arbitration Association’s panel of Arbitrators for construction disputes and has served as the Arbitrator on numerous complex construction matters. He has also received comprehensive mediation training through the American Arbitration Association, is on the panel of commercial mediators for the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Plea and has successfully mediated a number of construction claims through the years. Joe also presents continuing education seminars on a variety of topics including tort liability in the construction context, contract and bond claims and Ohio’s Mechanics’ Lien Statute.
Joe has been recognized as a Super Lawyer by Ohio Super Lawyers Magazine since 2011 and has been listed in Best Lawyers in America for Construction Law since 2007.
Adam M. Fried: As a shareholder in the estate, trust, and probate litigation practice group at Reminger Co., LPA, Adam focuses his practice on matters of estate, trust, probate and guardianship controversy. Whether he is retained to pursue or defend a will contest, a trust dispute, or to challenge the activities of a trustee, executor or guardian, he has garnered a reputation for developing and implementing effective litigation tactics and a common-sense approach to resolution.
Adam was selected as the 2015 and 2018 Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year” in Cleveland, for litigating trusts and estates. He has been honored as a Super Lawyer since 2012, as a Top 100 attorney in Ohio, and a Top 50 attorney in Cleveland by Ohio Super Lawyers Magazine. He was peer reviewed by Martindale-Hubbell® and given an AV Preeminent® rating.
Adam has been elected a fellow to the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and has authored and lectured nationally on issues pertaining to client decision making, legal capacity, the exercise of undue influence and financial exploitation of the elderly. He also taught the wills and trust and estate course at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
Adam is involved in the community, having served as the chairperson for the Consortium Against Adult Abuse, a five-county taskforce charged with developing plans, strategies, and education to help the community prevent against abuse, financial exploitation and neglect of the elderly. By appointment of the Cuyahoga County Probate Court, he also served on the steering committee to create an I-Team consisting of multiple professional disciplines whose role is to troubleshoot complicated cases relating to the plight of at-risk adults. He is Past President of the William K. Thomas Chapter of the American Inns of Court and is also a member of the Ohio State Bar Association Estate Planning Trust and Probate Section Council where he is actively involved in legislative efforts relevant to the law of probate, estates, trusts, and guardianships.
Donald A. Moracz: Don serves as Managing Partner of Reminger Co., LPA’s Sandusky office. He is also a member of the firm's Executive and Management Committees. Don's legal practice varies considerably. He has tried over 60 first chair jury trials involving medical malpractice, transportation liability, commercial premises liability and copyright infringement law.
Don is a member of numerous professional associations. He was named as a member in the National Register's Who's Who in the executive and professionals section. Don is also a featured speaker to numerous physician and professional organizations.
Don has been recognized as a Super Lawyer by Ohio Super Lawyers Magazine since 2013. In addition, Don has been listed as a Best Lawyer in America since 2014.
