Mackenzie presented Ethical and Effective Uses for Artificial Intelligence in Probate and Beyond and examined practical suggestions for practitioners both in probate and across practice to integrate artificial intelligence into practice. Her discussion included analysis of the Ohio Supreme Court’s 2026 Ohio Ethics Guide for the use of AI, an analysis of recent case law regarding discoverability of the use of artificial intelligence, the emerging duty to report Artificial Intelligence use and hallucinations of opposing parties, and the use of AI by self-represented litigants.
