Overview
Brittany is an associate in Reminger Co., LPA’s Cleveland and Akron offices, where she focuses her legal practice in estates, trusts, probate litigation, and guardianship. Brittany represents clients in the pursuit and defense of cases involve trust and will contests, power of attorney abuse, declaratory judgments to invalidate financial or real estate transactions, fiduciary liability, and breach of trust. Brittany counsels clients through all phases of the probate litigation process, including factual investigation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, mediation, evidentiary hearings, and trial. In addition to litigation, Brittany handles estate and trust administration as well as assists clients in applying for as well as personally serving as guardian.
Brittany has reviewed hundreds of thousands of pages of documents, researched complex issues of law, developed case strategies, and successfully obtained results for her clients through motion practice, mediation, and trial.
Brittany regularly presents on issues involving probate litigation. Brittany graduated cum laude from the Cleveland State College of Law where she served as an Associate on the Cleveland State Law Review and served as president of Cleveland State’s law school chapter of Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity. Brittany remains active in the community through her continued involvement in Ladder Down, Cleveland as well as several bar associations.

- Jun 8, 2026Summit County Probate Court
Obtained a favorable judgment in a Summit County Probate Court bench trial involving claims that certain estate planning changes were the product of undue influence. The Court found that more than $1.2 million in assets had been improperly transferred outside of the estate while the decedent’s cognitive condition was declining. The Court ordered the return of more than $1.2 million to the Estate, resulting in a substantial recovery for our clients.
- Nov 1, 2024, Jury VerdictSummit County Probate Court
Earned a unanimous jury verdict and an award of $110,000, plus attorney fees, on behalf of their clients—four beneficiaries of a trust who learned their trustee had hired her husband as a “consultant” to the trust. We sued for breach of fiduciary duty and related claims.
