Robert West, Jr. secured a complete defense victory in an AAA arbitration hearing on behalf of his commercial consulting firm client. This matter involved complex and highly technical intellectual property issues, including alleged software copyright infringement, claimed duplication of protected software “look and feel,” trade secret misappropriation, breach of confidentiality, and interpretation of a software license agreement.

Following a four-day arbitration featuring competing software and damages experts, the Arbitrator entered a Final Award entirely in our client’s favor on all claims, including contract, copyright, confidentiality, trade secret, and injunctive claims. The opposing party sought millions in monetary damages and injunctive relief but recovered nothing.
