Trenton Gill Secures Defense Verdict in Favor of Chiropractor
Plaintiff had three appointments with Trenton's client, a chiropractor, and ultimately suffered a stroke secondary to a carotid artery dissection four days after the last adjustment. Plaintiffs alleged that our client failed to recognize the red flag symptoms of a carotid artery dissection – namely, a severe headache which had lasted for ten days.
We argued that the Plaintiff either did not have a carotid artery dissection at the time of the treatment or that his symptoms presented so unusually that no medical provider would have expected such a condition.
After a four-day trial, the jury came back with a defense verdict in favor of our client after about 30 minutes.
