CLEVELAND, OH - Reminger Co., LPA partner and Hudson resident Rafael P. McLaughlin was recently elected to serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors for the Hudson Public Library and Historical Society. The nine-member board provides oversight and assistance to the Hudson Library and Historical Society.

McLaughlin joined Reminger in 2008 following a successful career as a civil litigation attorney in Boston, Massachusetts. He focuses his practice in the areas of long term care litigation, retail and hospitality litigation, professional liability, construction liability, and environmental liability. In 2006 and 2007, he was recognized by Boston Magazine and Law & Politics as a “Super Lawyer Rising Star.” In 2011, McLaughlin earned distinction as an "Ohio Rising Star."

McLaughlin is a member of various professional bar associations including the Boston Bar Association, the Rhode Island Bar Association, and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, where he sits on the Ethics & Professionalism Committee and the Judicial Election Monitoring Committee. Additionally, Mr. McLaughlin is a member of the Board of Directors of the Broadway School of Music & The Arts in Cleveland's Slavic Village.
