Chad Willits presented at an HR event sponsored by the SHRM-affiliate Cincy-SHRM, entitled 2023 Year End Review & Legal Update. Chad and two attorneys from other firms conducted a panel discussion on a number of topics, including the new DOL Rule changing the salary threshold for overtime-exempt white-collar employees, Ohio’s new recreational marijuana law, accommodations required under the new Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, and the NLRB McLaren Macomb decision invalidating confidentiality and non-disparagement provisions in severance agreements.
