Overview

Jennifer V. Sammon practices in Reminger Co., LPA's Cleveland office as Of Counsel, focusing her practice on business litigation and financial services liability.

Before returning to Reminger Co., LPA, Jennifer’s practice focused on business dispute litigation, insurance defense litigation and appellate brief writing. During the Covid-19 shutdown, she also submitted multiple business interruption briefs to the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Jennifer has also been trained by the Ohio Department of Education to mediate cases involving specialized education plans (IEPs) and disciplinary issues involving students and staff.

Notably, Jennifer contributed to the landmark opioid litigation against Purdue Pharma and others while serving as Counsel to the Special Master in the MDL before Judge Dan A. Polster. She assisted with review of discovery and dispositive motions across more than 1,500 consolidated federal cases and drafted orders that ultimately helped pave the way for a $17.3 billion settlement.

A life member of the Cleveland State Law Alumni Association, Jennifer was sworn into the SCOTUS bar in 2016 by Chief Justice John Roberts.
