CLEVELAND, OH - We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our founder, Dick Reminger, whose vision and leadership laid the foundation for what Reminger Co., LPA is today.
Dick established Reminger Co., LPA in 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio. He served as our Managing Partner until his retirement in 1991, guiding the firm through decades of growth and transformation.
A nationally recognized trial attorney, Dick’s professional contributions were noted through numerous honors, including:
- Alumnus of the Year, Cleveland State University College of Law (1989)
- President’s Award for Excellence, Case Western Reserve University (2018)
- Induction into the CMLAW Hall of Fame (2018)
In addition to his legal career, Dick was a gifted artist. He began painting in the early 1960s after visiting the coast of Maine and the island of Monhegan. His work has been exhibited across North America and Europe and is held in private and corporate collections worldwide.
Dick is survived by his wife, Billie; their children, Patty, Susan, and Tom (Richard T. Reminger, Jr.); and grandchildren, Brett, Trevor, Danielle, and Tommy (Richard T. Reminger III).
Beyond his accolades, Dick will be remembered for his mentorship, his dedication to the legal profession, and the values he instilled in our firm.
We are honored to carry forward his legacy.
