CLEVELAND, OH - Reminger Co., LPA is pleased to announce that attorney Myra Barsoum Stockett was selected as one of a small group of women to join the 2014-2015 Class of the Ohio Women's Bar Foundation Leadership Institute.
The Leadership Institute is a program of the Ohio Women’s Bar Foundation introduced in 2011 that was created by top women leaders in Ohio to assist women lawyers in developing their leadership skills. Previous classes have included Reminger attorneys Laurie Avery and Shelby McMillan.
The mission of the Leadership Institute is to advance inclusiveness within the legal profession and to supplement the professional skills of female lawyers by enhancing their leadership, business development, and communication skills for the benefit of the diverse communities in which they work, live, and serve.

"Not only does she serve as co-chair of our Insurance Coverage Practice Group, but she handles a wide variety of civil litigation. She will bring a great deal of experience and knowledge to this year’s class.”
As a co-chair for Reminger's Insurance Coverage/Bad Faith practice group, Myra handles all aspects of insurance coverage matters from coverage opinions to litigation, as well as guidance in drafting policy language. Myra counsels, advises and defends clients in coverage and bad faith claims across the State. She has put on countless seminars and educational days for clients across the nation.
Myra’s civil defense litigation experience includes workers' compensation, complex tort litigation, employment and professional liability matters. She is an experienced litigator, having handled cases in several different Ohio forums, including state and federal courts, appellate courts, and administrative hearings throughout Ohio. Myra also serves as General Counsel for a privately owned physician recruiting company. Myra is a frequent author in professional journals and has presented in national seminars as well as numerous legal educational seminars to both legal professionals and non-legal professionals in the areas of insurance coverage, tort reform, and general liability. She has been recognized as a Rising Star by Ohio Super Lawyers Magazine.
