Erin Hess and Sam Meadows secured a defense verdict on behalf of a physician assistant in a medical malpractice case arising from emergency department care following a severe injury that subsequently led to amputation.

The plaintiff sought $1.15 million in damages. After hearing the evidence, the jury returned a defense verdict on negligence following approximately one hour of deliberations.
