CLEVELAND, OH –Reminger Co., LPA is pleased to announce that Brian D. Sullivan was appointed by the Ohio Supreme Court to serve a three-year term on their Board of Commissioners on Character and Fitness.
The Board is responsible for ensuring that “each applicant for admission to the practice of law possesses the requisite character, fitness, and moral qualifications for admission.” The Board consists of 12 members, appointed by the Court, who must be members of the Ohio bar. He has briefed and/or argued numerous cases before most of the appellate courts in Ohio, the Ohio Supreme Court, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and in the United States Supreme Court. Brian frequently speaks before professional organizations on topics including ethics, professionalism, civil procedure, legal writing, appellate advocacy and insurance coverage.
