COLUMBUS, OH– Zachary B. Pyers and Tyler Tarney of Reminger Co., LPA’s Columbus office recently completed teaching a new summer intensive course on eDiscovery at Capital University Law School. Both Zach and Tyler serve as Adjunct Professors with the law school, and taught the 5-day, 30-hour course to primarily 3rd year law students.

The course addressed legal issues pertaining to discovery of electronically stored evidence (ESI) in civil litigation, which included the review of recent case law updates and experiential learning involving the practicing of skills essential to managing the production and review of ESI.

Zach litigates complex commercial, professional liability, tort, and class action matters.  He represents clients in commercial disputes, including: breach of contract claims; anti-trust actions; covenants not to compete; and, business torts. In his professional liability practice, Zach represents: attorneys; accountants; architects; engineers; surveyors; builders; real estate agents, insurance agents; directors and officers; and, investment advisors in litigation and licensure proceedings.  Zach also counsels several corporate clients on transactional matters.

Zach is actively involved in the community. He serves on several Boards and in leadership roles within legal associations.  As an Adjunct Professor at Capital University Law School, Zach also teaches a depositions course and works with the Mock Trial Competition Team.

Tyler defends, manages risk, and capitalizes on strategic opportunities in complex commercial, employment, wage-and-hour, and professional liability litigation. He has briefed, argued, and won multiple Sixth Circuit appeals, and litigated several wage-and-hour class actions before Ohio state courts, federal courts, and the Ohio Supreme Court. Tyler also helps clients navigate employment, business, and E-discovery issues.

He graduated third in his law school class while working at Reminger, serving on the Law Review Executive Board, and clerking for Sixth Circuit Judge Jeffrey Sutton. Before law school, he played on the Penn State Golf Team.
