CLEVELAND, OH - Reminger is pleased to announce the creation of a new practice group devoted to Sports and Entertainment Law. The practice group, chaired by Anthony M. Catanzarite, provides counsel and representation in a variety of contexts throughout sports related litigation, contract negotiations, and general representation.

We work with a broad range of clients at both professional and amateur levels, retired professional athletes, coaches, front office executives, and individuals and companies providing products and services within the sports industry. We also work with recording artists, actors, production companies, radio and television personalities, directors, producers, and a variety of other professionals in the entertainment industry.

Catanzarite is licensed with the Ohio Athletic Commission and is finalizing his certification through the Major League Baseball Players Association. He currently represents more than two dozen baseball players at various levels within multiple organizations. Several Reminger attorneys cross trained in complementary legal disciplines also work within the practice group, handling the varied needs of our client base.

The firm also represents iPhonic, voted ‘Best Original Band’ by Cleveland’s Scene Magazine for 2012.

“Reminger understands the demands facing sports and entertainment professionals,” said Managing Partner Stephen E. Walters. “Because we are a full-service firm, we are also able to provide these clients with guidance in related legal matters such as business formation, contract negotiation, real estate and estate planning.”
