CLEVELAND, OH – Reminger Co., LPA is pleased to announce that Matthew Barbara, Danielle Bennett and Michael Pelagalli have joined our Cleveland office.
Matthew Barbara: Matt focuses his practice on insurance coverage/bad faith, appellate advocacy, health care, professional liability and general liability litigation.
Prior to joining Reminger, Matt worked for a federal health care regulatory agency in Washington, D.C. Matt also worked with an international payor-provider health system, where he assisted with lobbying on health policy issues and implementing regulatory compliance programs.
Matt earned his Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, cum laude, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif; served as associate editor for Health Matrix: The Journal of Law-Medicine; and received the Arthur E. Petersilge Award for Excellence in the Study of Wills and Trusts and CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Transactional Writing and Skills, and Wills, Trusts & Future Interests.”
Danielle Bennett: Danielle focuses her practice on medical malpractice defense, long-term care, and general liability. Danielle originally joined Reminger as a law clerk in 2014, where she gained experience in a wide variety of practice groups and in all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, trial preparation and trial.
Danielle earned her Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2015, where she was a Law-Medicine scholar and competed as a member of Case Western’s National Moot Court Team. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and the Ohio Women’s Bar Association.
Michael Pelagalli: Michael focuses his practice on medical malpractice defense, health care, construction liability, and commercial liability. In 2014, Michael joined Reminger as a law clerk, where he gained experience in a wide variety of practice groups and in all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, trial preparation and trial.
Michael graduated cum laude from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2015, where he competed as a member of Cleveland-Marshall’s National Moot Court Team for two years. Michael’s team finished 1st overall and won the Best Brief Award in the Regional round of the National Moot Court Competition. His team later went on to place 5th in the nation. While at Cleveland-Marshall, Michael also worked as a judicial extern for The Honorable Christopher A. Boyko in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
