Opening available in our Cleveland office for an experienced probate, trust, and guardianship administration paralegal with a minimum of 5 years experience, preferred 10 years+. Duties include preparing probate filings (inventories, accountings, notices, etc.), preparing federal estate and gift tax returns, familiarity and comfort with frequent client contact, budgeting and accounting, Medicaid benefits, and Social Security benefits. Candidate should be able to maintain probate administration files and to work independently to track deadlines to assist attorneys with meeting all probate-related deadlines from start to finish.
Proficiency with QuickBooks, Puritas Springs, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft office suite, and e-filing requirements.
Prefer a candidate with familiarity with county-specific procedures in northeast Ohio counties, including Cuyahoga, Lake, Lorain, Geauga, Summit, Portage, Wayne, and Stark.
