LUNCH, LEARN, & EARN FREE CLE CREDIT

Tuesday, December 13th - 11:45 am to 1:45 pm

Sherwin Williams Landmark Conference Center

101 W. Prospect Ave. - Landmark Office Tower - 9th Floor

When reporters won't wait long for you to return that call before posting a story online and where virtually everyone is a "journalist" armed with a camera and able to reach thousands of people with one simple Facebook message, attorneys and their clients simply cannot wait until a legal decision is rendered.  They must be prepared to vigorously defend their situation in a wide variety of venues, as well as media outlets.

This CLE* will help prepare you to face the "court of public opinion" so that you, your organization, and your client are not declared "guilty" before you can even be heard in a court of law. Better yet, what you will learn can help forestall a situation from even spawning a court case at all.

Worth 1.5 credit hours, the complimentary CLE will address:

*  Establishing & maintaining "control of the message"

*  Managing the reporter's agenda vs. the attorney's agenda

*  Dealing with the press proactively and reactively

Our panelists will be joined by special local judiciary guests including Judge Burt W. Griffin and Judge Brendan J. Sheehan, who will provide insights on the impact of the media on jurors and trial verdicts.
