As the Director of Human Resource and Law Firm Administration, Diane is responsible for the daily operations of the firm. She oversees all internal functions and works directly with management to create and implement firm policy and culture, always working toward providing an environment that provides optimal support for all employees with a great deal of emphasis on work/life balance.
At Reminger, we give our law clerks meaningful work for actual clients in each of our practice groups. We offer our clerks an opportunity to learn what the practice of law is like for a young associate. They carry out wide ranging assignments from drafting legal research memos and motions for summary judgment to attending arbitrations and trials. Our law clerks work in a rotation system with a revolving group of lawyers and practice groups allowing for mentoring, feedback and oversight from all of the lawyers in our firm.
Reminger typically hires laws clerks during fall/winter of their second year in law school. Law clerks work on a year round basis, rather than the traditional 'summer associate' positions available at other firms. Our student law clerks work part time during the school year and full time during the summer months. We believe strongly that the additional time spent with the firm allows our law clerks ample opportunity to excel. This arrangement allows us the chance to assess the potential of our law clerks to become talented lawyers.
