My focus is to provide my clients with the options as are available given their particular situation, so that in the end the planning completed for the client reflects an informed, educated decision and one which is in the best overall interests of the client.
Based in Reminger's Sandusky office, John focuses his practice in the areas of Medicaid, elder law and special needs planning, estate planning and estate administration, charitable planning, and guardianships.
John has extensive experience in Medicaid and elder law planning and the preparation and administration of special needs trusts; the preparation and administration of estate plans, including wills, powers of attorney and health care directives; the administration of guardianships and decedent's estates; the administration of trusts; and, planning for estate, gift and income tax issues in both pre-death and post-death contexts.
John is a frequent speaker on Medicaid, elder law planning and estate planning for the Ohio Bar Association, the Professional Systems Education Institute (PESI), and county probate and estate planning councils and civic groups throughout Northwest and Northeast Ohio.
