Promoting the Success of our Firm by Promoting the Success of our Women Lawyers

We established the Reminger Women's Leadership Council ("WLC") in 2008 to strengthen and further our dedication to attracting and retaining talented women lawyers. The WLC is dedicated to the recruitment, retention, and advancement of female lawyers at Reminger and in the community. Currently, our women lawyers serve as leaders across Reminger and in the communities we serve.

Mentoring

Our efforts at helping women attorneys flourish at Reminger begin at day one, when our new associates and law clerks are partnered with a mentor. The mentor serves as a role model and provides the associate and law clerk with the opportunity to learn from the women who have succeeded in their own legal careers.

Flexibility

Reminger supports flexible and non-traditional work arrangements for our women lawyers. We believe in fostering success personally and professionally. Through the years, our lawyers are encouraged to create individualized programs that allow them to flourish in their professional and personal lives, including part-time, flex-time and job sharing arrangements. Additionally, Reminger is a past recipient of the Ohio Women Bar Association's "Family Friendly Award" as a result of these efforts.

Opportunity for Advancement

The ability to grow and develop a successful legal career at Reminger is evidenced by the fact that over sixty percent of our women lawyers are shareholders in the firm. Opportunities to be involved in leadership positions at Reminger are plentiful.

Community Involvement

Reminger also supports community involvement and marketing efforts to help our women lawyers develop new clientele and expand existing relationships. Our women lawyers are leaders in the community and involved in various organizations throughout Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. A small sample of those organizations and events include the Rose Centers For Aging Well, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Milestones Autism Resources, and local women's bar associations. Through their community involvement, our women lawyers are actively involved in planning, attending, and supporting community events designed specifically for women professionals.
