Anthony M. Catanzarite
How did you get involved with DRI?
I began attending various conferences with Senior Partners of my firm and enjoyed the experience. I then made various contacts with clients and other attorneys, and continued to attend events on my own.
How has DRI helped you in your practice?
Steering Committee positions with DRI have assisted my credibility with clients. DRI has also been a great networking source for attorneys and clients throughout the country.
When you are not practicing law, what do you enjoy doing?
I am a big sports fan, which recently led to my becoming an agent for professional baseball players. I also love spending time with my wife and 3 young children, which keeps me pretty busy.
If you were not a lawyer, what would you be?
I would be working somewhere in the sports world, in some capacity.
What is the proudest moment of your legal career thus far?
Either making partner at my firm or becoming a co-chair of a practice group. Both were accomplished at relatively young ages, so are a source of pride for me.
How do you think your adversaries would describe you if they had to explain what type of lawyer you are?
Prepared and aggressive.
What's on your iPod right now?
My musical tastes are a wide of a variety which includes anything from Rap to Classical to Country to kids music.

Last vacation locale?
Los Angeles, California with my family to visit my brother.
Tony Catanzarite is the vice chair of Law School Initiative Subcommittee on the DRI Young Lawyers steering committee. He practices at Reminger in Cleveland, Ohio, where he serves as co-chair of Reminger's Construction Design and Liability Practice Group. In addition to construction litigation, Tony's practice includes representing clients in the areas of premises liability, personal injury and corporate/general business. Tony serves as general counsel for several local and regional companies handling a variety of legal needs. He has successfully tried multiple cases to a jury, and is licensed and actively practices in both Ohio and West Virginia.
