Mark A. MacDonald, Timothy B. Spille and Jade A. Stewart Join Reminger Co., LPA’s Cincinnati and Fort Mitchell Offices

CINCINNATI, OH – We are pleased to announce that attorneys Mark A. MacDonald, Timothy B. Spille, and Jade A. Stewart have joined the Cincinnati and Fort Mitchell offices of Reminger Co., LPA.

Mark A. MacDonald

A shareholder with the firm, Mark focuses his practice on medical malpractice defense and insurance defense litigation matters. Mark has cultivated an illustrious career over the past thirty-plus years as an attorney representing hospitals, physicians, dentists, and other medical professionals in the allied health care arena.  He has represented the attending physicians of the University of Cincinnati for the past 18 years. An accomplished trial attorney, Mark has tried dozens of jury trials to verdict

Mark started his legal career in 1980 as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Lyle W. Castle, a 1st District Court of Appeals Judge. Mark continued his clerkship and followed Judge Castle to the newly created 12th District Court of Appeals for a couple of years until joining a Cincinnati-based litigation firm. Mark worked on a varied caseload with some of the area’s highest profile attorneys. Heeding to his entrepreneurial nature, he started a firm a few years later with several other attorneys where he worked on a variety of legal matters. After several years he was recruited by a large regional firm, where he continued to hone his skills in medical malpractice defense as well as non-medical insurance defense matters including car accidents, larger dollar motor vehicle cases for trucking companies, construction cases, employment law matters and more.

Mark has been recognized as a Super Lawyer by Ohio Super Lawyers Magazine from 2007 through 2016. He is rated “AV® Preeminent™: Very Highly Rated in Both Legal Ability and Ethical Standards” by Martindale Hubbell Peer Review.  Mark has also been listed in Best Lawyers in America since 2008.

Timothy B. Spille

A shareholder with the firm, Tim is a litigation, insurance coverage, construction, and small business attorney representing clients in state and federal courts throughout Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.   

Tim regularly defends bodily injury and property damage claims arising from car accidents, landslides, trucking accidents, slip and fall incidents and premises liability matters.

Tim defends construction defect and damage, breach of contract and warranty claims. Many of these construction claims start as early as a scope of work or payment dispute. Tim enjoys handling construction workmanship, damage and monetary disputes for his general contractor and subcontractor clients. Tim also resolves real estate title claims.

Tim advises small businesses on entity organization, collections matters, mechanic's and materialman's liens, non-compete agreements and contract disputes. In fact, Tim serves as general counsel for a number of well known Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky businesses.  

Tim works with individuals and their families to prepare and implement wills, trusts, powers of attorney and advance health care directives.  He also handles probate court matters for the appointment of guardians and the settlement of minor’s claims for injuries or damages.

As a seasoned insurance coverage litigator, Tim has successfully defended clients regarding coverage issues involving a duty to defend or indemnify, PIP and medical payment claims disputes and UM/UIM claims. Tim also maintains a significant appellate court practice.

Tim has been recognized as a Rising Star in Kentucky Super Lawyers Magazine in 2015 and 2016. Tim is also rated “AV® Preeminent™: Very Highly Rated in Both Legal Ability and Ethical Standards” by Martindale Hubbell Peer Review.

Jade A. Stewart

Jade has both trial and appellate experience in various areas of civil litigation in Kentucky and Ohio. She has also represented employers throughout the multiple levels of the workers’ compensation system.

Jade was one of three counsel to receive the 2014 OARS award from Westfield Insurance Company, in recognition for her efforts at resolving cases in a cost-effective and creative manner.  Additionally, in 2016, Jade was awarded a Golden Gavel award by Westfield Insurance Company, in recognition for her handling of a complex litigation file.

Before joining the firm, Jade externed with the Honorable Judge Mark A. Painter. She also worked at another Cincinnati law firm that specialized in personal injury, medical malpractice, premises liability, and intentional tort cases. For the first seven years of her law practice, Jade was at another regional law firm, at which she specialized in malpractice and civil litigation defense.

Jade is a member of a number of professional associations, and currently serves as the PR Committee Secretary for the Cincinnati Bar Foundation. Jade has been recognized as a Rising Star in Ohio Super Lawyers Magazine from 2013 through 2016.
