Patrick Kasson was quoted in the Sandusky Register article entitled "Kirk Halliday loses appeal of defamation lawsuit against mental health board." Kasson represented the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Erie and Ottawa Counties in the Sixth District state appeals court in Toledo in a defamation suit filed by the entity's previous director.
