CLEVELAND, OH - Reminger Co., LPA is pleased to announce that attorney Shelby McMillan was selected as one of 17 women to join the 2013-2014 Class of the Ohio Women's Bar Foundation Leadership Institute.

The Leadership Institute is a program of the Ohio Women’s Bar Foundation created by top women leaders in Ohio to assist women lawyers in developing their leadership skills. Previous classes have included Reminger attorney Laurie Avery.

The mission of the Leadership Institute is to advance inclusiveness within the legal profession and to supplement the professional skills of female lawyers by enhancing their leadership, business development, and communication skills for the benefit of the diverse communities in which they work, live, and serve.

“Shelby is an exceptional asset to our firm,” said Reminger Managing Partner Stephen Walters. “The Leadership Institute will benefit greatly from her participation in this year’s class.”

Based in Reminger’s Cincinnati office, Shelby concentrates her practice on the representation of self insured and state funded employers in the defense of workers' compensation claims. She has represented Ohio employers before the Industrial Commission, in mediations, jury trials, Ohio Courts of Appeal and the Ohio Supreme Court.

Shelby is a member of numerous professional bar associations including the Ohio State Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association, Cincinnati Bar Association, and Northern Kentucky Bar Association.
