Sullivan, shareholder with Reminger Co., LPA in Cleveland, to speak at the 2014 Summer Seminar.  Brian is looking forward to presenting "The Anatomy of Buy Back Litigation" based on an actual case. Brian Sullivan is a shareholder with Reminger Co., LPA in Cleveland. For the past two decades, Brian has focused his practice on professional liability defense, insurance law and appellate advocacy. He has zealously represented various professionals faced with legal, regulatory and disciplinary complaints.His leadership capacity is further evidenced by his role as a leader in the firm’s insurance law group and as a co-chair of the appellate advocacy group. Brian’s writing and advocacy skills have enabled him to represent insurance companies in complex disputes with policyholders including disputes involving the buy-back phenomenon.  He has also represented hundreds of clients in appellate proceedings in both state and federal courts. He has briefed and/or argued numerous cases before most of the appellate courts in Ohio, the Ohio Supreme Court, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and in the United States Supreme Court.Brian frequently speaks before professional organizations on topics including ethics, professionalism, civil procedure, legal writing, appellate advocacy and insurance coverage.  Brian has been recognized by the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys for his outstanding contribution to the development of the law as author of a number of amicus curiae briefs filed in the Ohio Supreme Court. He has been honored as an Ohio Rising Star and as an Ohio Super Lawyer.
