Shea practices in Reminger Co., LPA's Lexington, Louisville and Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky offices and is Managing Partner of the Lexington office. Since his admission to the Kentucky Bar in 1998, Shea has developed significant experience defending and trying cases on behalf of product manufacturers, construction companies, attorneys, architects and engineers, transportation companies, premises owners and primary and excess insurers in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. His mechanical engineering background is unique among litigators and makes him particularly well-suited for complex products liability, construction defect and architect and engineering malpractice litigation. Shea has also defended various public and private employers in discrimination, retaliation and wrongful discharge claims in both state and federal court.

Shea's broad practice background also includes equine industry-related litigation, will contests and estate disputes and a wide variety of commercial litigation on behalf of banks and other financial institutions. Shea has tried cases in the Eastern and Western U.S. District Courts of Kentucky, the Southern District of Ohio and numerous Kentucky Circuit Courts. Shea has also argued and published appeals in the Kentucky Court of Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
